Weather Update Today: Thunderstorm and rain are expected in many states including Bihar today, know the weather condition of your city

After getting relief from the heat, now the pre-monsoon rains have started in most of the states. Monsoon rains may start in Bihar, Jharkhand, and Chhattisgarh after a few days. Earlier, heavy rain and thunderstorm activities are being seen in many states. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be heavy rain in the North East areas from today. Heavy to very heavy rain is expected in Assam and Meghalaya from June 2 to June 4. At the same time, there will be heavy rains in Mizoram and Tripura till June 2 and in Arunachal Pradesh between June 4. Apart from this, for the next five days from today, Bihar, Jharkhand, and West Bengal will see thunderstorm conditions with heavy rains.

According to Skymet Weather, the Western Disturbance is being seen as a cyclonic circulation over Jammu and Kashmir and adjoining parts of Pakistan. The Induced Cyclonic Circulation lies over Northwest Rajasthan and adjoining areas. A Low-Pressure Line is extending from a cyclonic circulation over West Rajasthan to Bangladesh across Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar. A Cyclonic Circulation is persisting over Jharkhand and adjoining areas.

Chances of rain in these states

According to Skymet Weather, light to moderate rain with isolated heavy falls at isolated places over Northeast India, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, parts of Kerala, Coastal Karnataka, South Interior Karnataka, Interior Tamil Nadu, and Rayalaseema. There is a possibility of rain. Light to moderate rain is possible over parts of Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. Light rain is possible over Telangana and North Interior Karnataka. Light rain is possible over Uttarakhand, Vidarbha, Marathwada, South Madhya Maharashtra, South Chhattisgarh, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and one or two parts of Odisha. Scattered rain and thundershower activities are possible over Haryana, Delhi, and West Uttar Pradesh.

Clouds will prevail in the capital Delhi

According to the Meteorological Department, there will be a partly cloudy sky in Delhi on Wednesday as well. There is also a possibility of thunderstorm formation and wind speed reaching 20 to 30 mph. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be 40 and 24 degrees Celsius respectively. The sky is forecast to remain clear for the next five days from Thursday. However, the temperature will not go above 40 degrees.

The temperature will increase further in Punjab from Wednesday. According to the Chandigarh Center of the Meteorological Department, the weather will become dry from Wednesday, although the wind will continue to blow.

Weather is likely to remain clear at most places in Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature will increase due to sunshine.

Weather will remain dry in Uttarakhand

The weather is likely to remain dry in Uttarakhand for the next few days. There is a possibility of an increase in temperature in the plains. However, a partly cloudy sky may occur over the hills. Due to this light rain may occur in isolated places.
