Up to 50% energy from fossil sources by 2030

Need to make more energy-capacity ACs, heaters, and geysers
Energy storage is also a big challenge along with renewable energy. We have also given priority to the storage capacity. In this year's budget, we have made several provisions for battery swapping policy and interoperability standards. Energy-saving and production are essential for sustainability. We need to do a lot more to make more energy-capacity ACs, heaters, geysers, and similar devices in India.
The government gave 37 crores LED bulbs to the poor
The cost of an LED bulb used to be Rs 300-400. Our government increased its production, it reduced the cost. We have given about 37 crores LED bulbs under UJALA, which has resulted in a lot of electricity, money for the poor, and a reduction in carbon emissions. We have prepared four pilot projects for coal gasification and have also promoted the use of ethanol.
Huge market for solar gas start-ups
We need to modernize our sugar mills and distilleries. Our energy demand is continuously increasing and thus, India needs to shift towards renewable energy. We also need to advance clean cooking. Solar gas can be a huge market for our start-ups.
Need to develop solar tree at home
We can develop a new concept of a solar tree for every family in the garden or balcony of the house, this solar tree can help in 10-20% electricity of the house. It will also become the identity of the house that the house with the solar tree is the home of environmentally conscious citizens.
