The High Court wants a list of all the bridges, mentioning how many of them are in similar condition. The submitted report needs to be certified and needs to be placed before the High Court.
Gujarat High Court asked to increase the compensation for the Morbi accident
The Gujarat High Court said that after going through the report of the case, we are of the view that the compensation given to the relatives of the dead and injured should be enhanced. The Court observed that even Rs 50,000 as compensation for the injured at this stage is too meager. The details of injuries, hospitalization, and treatment details are not coming out in the interim report.
