Long planning was done for the attack.
The arrested accused told the police during interrogation that they were going to get Rs 2.5-3 lakh for this. However, the demand was kept for Rs 1 crore. At the same time, the accused were living in a rented house in Kurla, Mumbai for a month and used to do recce of Baba-Zeeshan Siddique's house and office.
