Police have disclosed the murder of Congress worker Himani and have named her friend Sachin as the accused. Money transaction is said to be the reason behind the murder, but this theory of police is not being accepted by anyone.
However, the friend who is accused of the murder was not in good condition and he used to run a mobile repair shop to make a living. Being a Congress worker, Himani had good acquaintances with the millionaires of the city. Is it possible that Sachin was used only as a pawn in this incident? Himani's family is saying something similar.
'Sachin has no status...'
Himani's mother Savita said that the way the police narrated the story of the murder is not acceptable to her. Sachin can only be an acquaintance of her daughter. In such a situation, Sachin has no status and he is taking care of the family by running a mobile repair shop.
I have heard in the media that her children's fees have not been paid for several months. It is beyond comprehension that Himani would befriend such a person and ask for money from him. There are many leaders and millionaires in the city who considered Himani as their daughter. If she wanted money, she could have asked them too.
'Someone used Sachin as a pawn'
If she had to take money from the people of the city, she could have asked any millionaire father figure, but asking for money from Sachin is a question in itself. Is it possible that someone used Sachin as a pawn and someone else is behind the incident? The police should investigate the matter thoroughly.
Sachin had reached Sampla the next morning to see the body.
Meanwhile, police sources said that Sachin had left for his home at around 1 am after killing Congress worker Himani on February 28 and throwing her body in Sampla. After staying at home at night, he once again reached Sampla bus stand on the morning of March 1 to see the body. After watching the police and the crowd there for about half an hour, the accused fled to Delhi by boarding a bus.
On March 1, Sachin reached Subhash Chowk in Gurugram from Delhi and stayed in a guest house there for the night. On March 2, he left Gurugram for his sister's house in Najafgarh, but on the way, he thought that his sister might be trapped and returned from the way and planned to escape from Mundka to another place, but by then Delhi STF had reached him through his mobile location.
According to the police, after committing the murder, Sachin reached the shop with Himani's mobile, laptop, jewelry, and other items on her scooter, but he felt that he would be caught this way. Therefore, he went at night and destroyed the evidence put the body in a suitcase, and took it to Sampla. Sources said that on the day of the incident, he had only 60 rupees in his pocket and he had given them in auto-rickshaws and buses. After throwing the body, he somehow asked for a lift from Sampla to Bahadurgarh and from there to his home.
Himani wanted to tell the police about the murderer's act.
Police sources said that after a dispute with Himani, he tied her hands at knifepoint. During this time, there was a lot of dispute between the two and Himani was talking about teaching Sachin a lesson by telling the police about his act, while he was constantly pressurizing her to keep quiet by threatening her.
Sachin told the whole story.
Sachin came to Himani's house on 28 February. Himani and Sachin had a dispute in the afternoon regarding a money transaction. Sachin left from there in anger amidst a lot of commotion during the day, although he stayed in Rohtak. Sachin again reached Himani's house in Vijay Nagar at around 4 pm and after talking there for a while, there was a dispute between the two again. The matter escalated so much that a scuffle broke out between the two.
When Himani slapped Sachin, he became furious. Angered by this, he strangled Himani to death with the charger wire. After the murder, the body was covered with a quilt on the bed. After this, he started looking for a way to escape. During this, his eyes fell on the suitcase. There were some clothes in it. He emptied the suitcase and stuffed Himani's body in it. However, due to this, her hands and legs were badly twisted.
Himani was murdered on 28 February.
Additional Director General of Police Krishna Kumar Rao told in a press conference on Monday that on 28 February, at Himani Narwal's house in Vijay Nagar, the dispute between the two over money escalated.
At around 5 pm, Sachin first tied Himani's hands with her dupatta and then strangled her with a mobile charging wire. Himani tried a lot to save herself from the accused. In this struggle, Himani tried to escape by scratching Sachin's hands with her nails.
