
An F-7 training aircraft of the Bangladesh Air Force crashed into a college campus on Monday. The plane collided with the college building. A young man died in the accident, while more than 100 people were injured. Children were present in Milestone College at the time of the accident. There was chaos in the school after the plane crash. Fire and rescue teams have reached the spot and started rescue operations.
Dr. Bajlur Rahman, Deputy Director of Uttara Medical College Hospital, said that after first aid, about 60 injured were referred to the Burn Institute, while 25 people with minor injuries are being treated here. A senior official of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport has also confirmed the incident. On receiving the information, members of the Bangladesh Army, eight vehicles of the fire service, and civil defense reached the spot and started the rescue operation.
Plane crashes into Milestone School and College campus
The Bangladesh Army Public Relations Office said that the Air Force training aircraft F-7 BGI crashed into the Milestone School and College campus in the Diyabari area of Uttra region of Dhaka. Fire officer Lima Khan said that one person died and four others were injured in the accident.
Officials said that the training aircraft took off at around 1:06 pm and crashed soon after takeoff. After the accident, the plane caught fire. Eight fire brigades reached the spot to extinguish the fire. A spokesman for Milestone School and College said that the plane crashed near the school gate. Classes were going on on the school campus where the plane crashed. The injured are being evacuated one by one.

According to Bangladeshi media, an eyewitness, Sadman Ruhsin, said that the plane collided with the school building. Members of the army and fire service reached the spot and took the students and parents to a safe place. Army personnel were seen bringing out injured students in their arms.
A teacher at the school said that he was standing near the ten-storey college building when the plane hit the college campus. Shortly after 1 pm, the plane hit the front of the three-storey school building next to it, trapping many students inside. College teachers and staff rushed to rescue the students. He said that I pulled out an injured student and saw a female teacher in a burnt condition.
