There has been a new twist in the murder of Congress worker Himani Narwal. The statement of Director General of Police KK Rao has changed the whole story. Himani and Sachin were just friends. There was no love affair between the two. The family also knew that the murderer Sachin used to come to Himani's house. On the other hand, the initial investigation has also revealed that the murderer Sachin did not commit the murder suddenly, he had already hatched a conspiracy to commit the murder. At present, the police have taken the accused Sachin on a three-day remand. The police are busy interrogating him.
'She will go to some program...'
The way the accused Sachin carried out the crime, the police suspect that he had already hatched a conspiracy to kill Himani. On the night of February 27, he stayed at Himani's house, while before that he had made Himani call her mother that she would go to some program and she would call if she got time.
Mother was with Himani till 4 pm on 27 February.
This gives rise to suspicion that Sachin had already hatched a conspiracy. Himani's mother Savita told that she was with her daughter at the house in Vijay Nagar till 4 pm on 27 February. When she reached home in Delhi at night, she spoke to Himani. She had told about the program on 28 February and said that she would be busy in it.
Himani and Sachin had not gone out of the house at all. Police suspect that Sachin must have already had such a conspiracy, so he had prepared the role. However, the police have taken the accused on a three-day remand and started questioning him and soon the layers will be revealed.
ADG denied the claim going on social media
Director General of Police KK Rao said in a press conference that Himani had not put any pressure on Sachin for marriage. Apart from this, they did not have any love affair. They were only friends and they had a dispute, after which he committed the murder. The accused had been visiting Himani's house for the last six to seven months and had stayed at her house a day before the incident. Only the two of them were at home.
Police will take Himani's jewellery from the finance company.
Police officials said that after questioning the accused, it was found that he had mortgaged the jewellery for Rs 2 lakh to the finance company. Now the police will take them in their possession. This is the property of the murder case.
Two more accused are in police custody, and interrogation continues.
Apart from murder accused Sachin, the police have detained two more people and are interrogating them. Although they have no direct involvement in the murder, both of them have helped Sachin. Apart from this, other information is being gathered.
Father of two children befriended on social media, killed over money transaction.
The accused of the murder of Congress worker Himani Narwal was arrested by the police from Mundka, Delhi on Sunday night. The accused has been identified as Sachin alias Dhillo, a resident of Khairpur village in Jhajjar. Sachin is married and father of two children. The accused became Himani's friend through social media one and a half years ago and had been visiting Himani's house for the last few months.
There was a dispute going on between the two for several days regarding money transactions. The police produced Sachin in the court and took his remand for three days. Additional Director General of Police Krishna Kumar Rao told in a press conference on Monday that on February 28, the dispute between the two over money escalated at Himani Narwal's house in Vijay Nagar.
At around 5 pm, Sachin first tied Himani's hands with her dupatta and then strangled her with a mobile charging wire. Himani tried hard to save herself from the accused. In this struggle, Himani tried to escape by scratching Sachin's hands with her nails.
After killing Himani, Sachin took the laptop, jewelry, and other items and went to his mobile repair shop in village Kanoda in Jhajjar on Himani's scooty. He kept the items here and spent about three hours. Then he again went to Himani's house on the same scooty. There he removed the quilt cover stained with Himani's blood and destroyed other evidence.
After this, Sachin locked the body in a suitcase. At 10 pm, he brought an auto rickshaw. He reached Delhi bypass by auto rickshaw and from there boarded a bus to reach Sampla. Sachin threw the suitcase in the bushes near the wall near Sampla bus stand. After disposing of the body, he reached his home.
