ICC Rankings: Team India became number-1 in all formats, this feat happened for the first time in Indian cricket history

The Indian team has created history by securing the top spot in the latest Test team rankings released by the ICC on Wednesday. The Indian team has become the number-1 one team in all three formats of cricket. Earlier, the 'Men in Blue' held the top spot in the ODI and T20 International formats. This is the first time in Indian cricket history that the national team is holding the top position in all three formats simultaneously.

 

The Nagpur Test between India and Australia ended recently, after which the ICC Test Team Rankings were released. In this, the Indian team beat Australia and secured the top position. The Indian team has a rating of 115 in the Test rankings. And Australia has 111 rating points. In the Test team rankings, England's team is in third place with 106 ratings. New Zealand (100 ratings) and South Africa (85) remained frozen in fourth and fifth places respectively.

 

Number-1 in every format

It is a matter of great pleasure for Indian fans that the national team has become number-1 one in all three formats of the game. India is already on top in ODI and T20 International formats. Talking about the ODI team rankings, India is at the top with 114 ratings. Australia is also in second place with 112 ratings. New Zealand and England have a combined rating of 111 and these teams occupy the third and fourth positions. Pakistan's team is frozen in fifth place with 106 ratings.

 

Top in T20 International as well

The Indian team is also number-1 one in the T20 International team rankings. The Indian team has 267 rating points. Here the Indian team is only one rating point ahead of T20 World Cup champions England. England has 266 rating points. Pakistan's team is in the third position with 258 rating points. South Africa (256) and New Zealand (252) occupy the fourth and fifth positions respectively.
