Congress leader Rahul Gandhi arrived in Britain on Tuesday with a new look. He started his 7-day UK tour with a speech at Cambridge University. Addressing the students of the business school, Rahul said that we cannot see a world being created which is not linked to democratic values. So, we need new thinking about this.

Rahul's address was focused on learning to listen. He said that the art of listening is very powerful. During this, he called for new thinking for democratic systems. The Congress leader said that new thinking is necessary to promote a democratic environment in the world, but it should not be imposed. During his speech, Rahul also mentioned Bharat Jodo Yatra.

1). Mention of Indian couples travel in the first part

The Congress leader's speech was divided into three parts. It started with the Bharat Jodo Yatra. Rahul told the Cambridge students that travel is a journey in which people listen to others rather than themselves. He said that through this visit he drew attention to unemployment, injustice, and ever-increasing inequality in India. Rahul's yatra, which started on September 7, has covered a distance of about 3,570 km. In this journey of a total of 146 days, Rahul has touched the borders of 14 states.

2). Mention of the Second World War in the second part

The second part of Rahul's speech referred to the Second World, which mainly focused on two different aspects of the US and China since the 1991 disintegration of the Soviet Union. Rahul Gandhi said that America has pulled itself together after the September 11, 2001 terror attacks, apart from eliminating manufacturing-related jobs. While China promoted harmony through the organizations around the Communist Party.

Referring to the continuous decline in manufacturing in democratic countries like India and America, he said that this change has given rise to widespread inequality and resentment, which needs immediate attention.

3). The third part is based on the imperative for a global conservation

The last part of Rahul's lecture was related to the topic Imperative for Global Conservation. He tried to weave together different dimensions in calling for new ways to embrace different aspects. He also explained to Cambridge University students that travel is a pilgrimage that people themselves engage in so that they can listen to others.

Rahul will also address Indians in Britain

According to the information, Rahul can also address the people of the Indian community in Britain on the topic 'Learning to listen in the 21st century'. Cambridge JBS had tweeted that our Cambridge is happy to welcome India's main opposition leader and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi.

Gave a speech in Cambridge in May 2022 as well, the statement on Modi was criticized

Rahul Gandhi had earlier visited Cambridge University in May 2022. Here he had to speak on the topic of Ideas for India. During this, Rahul Gandhi had said that the Modi government is not allowing the country's constitutional institutions like the Parliament and the Election Commission to do their work. The BJP objected to his statement. The question was asked why such a statement on the Prime Minister of the country be made abroad.

Rahul was a student at Cambridge, and took degree under another name due to security

Rahul Gandhi studied at Cambridge University under the name of Raul Vinci. He did his MPhil in Development Studies in 1995. The name had to be changed because everyone was worried about Rahul's safety after the assassination of his father Rajiv Gandhi. When the controversy started regarding Rahul's degree, then the Vice-Chancellor of Cambridge, Prof. Alison Richard also wrote a letter and told that Rahul had obtained a degree under the name of Raul Vinci.
