Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan is in another big trouble. Khan is alleged to have given information about having only two sons in the election affidavit but did not tell the Election Commission about having a daughter in America. A petition was filed in the Islamabad High Court in this matter.
The petition filed two weeks ago demanded that Imran be disqualified from contesting the election for giving a false affidavit. The High Court had sought an answer to this by sending a notice to the Central Government, Imran, and the Election Commission. The High Court said on Wednesday evening – the allegations against Imran are very serious. We will hear this petition on December 20.
what is the allegation in the petition?
How serious the matter is, can be gauged from the fact that Islamabad High Court Chief Justice Amir Farooq himself has kept its hearing in his hands. The petition has been filed by social activist Sajid Mehmood.
According to the petition- Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran had said in the affidavit that he has two sons. Their names are Qasim and Suleman Khan. Both live with Khan's divorced wife Jemima in the UK. Why didn't Imran name 28-year-old Taryn White, who lives in America?
It has been proved in American and British courts that Taryn's mother Sita White and Imran had an affair. Thus was born Taryn.
It was said in the petition – Imran is Tarin's father and all the proofs is there. This means that Khan violated Article 62 of the Constitution and gave a false affidavit. Therefore, he should be barred from contesting any election in the future. According to Islam, any candidate must be Sadiq and Amin (truthful and honest).
Taryn is in America
Taryn is currently 28 years old and lives in America. His mother's name is Sita White. Khan also constantly sends money to Tarin and there is evidence of this.
Home Minister said – the allegations made in the petition are correct
The country's Home Minister Rana Sanaullah also reacted to the allegations against Imran. Rana told the media – There is no doubt that Taryn White is the daughter of Imran Khan. We also have many solid proofs of this. Khan denied being Tareen's father for many years, but medical and scientific evidence exists and the more Imran lies, the more he gets trapped.
Rana further said – The High Court of California State of America has declared Khan as Tarin's father. The UK court also gave the same decision. Khan's first wife Jemima herself calls Tareen her stepdaughter. The notice issued to us by the High Court will be answered in detail and all the evidence will also be cited in it. Khan's attitude is highly irresponsible.
Khan trapped by US court order
On August 13, 1997, California High Court Justice Anthony Jones declared Imran to be Taryn's father. Justice Jones had said in the judgment – It is clear from all the medical reports and investigations that Imran is the father of Taryn White. Taryn's mother Sita White and Khan were in a relationship from 1987-88. Imran refused to help in the investigation. He didn't even give a blood sample for testing. Taryn currently lives in Weberly Hills.
Taryn was born on 15 June 1992. Sita's lawyer said during the hearing in the US High Court - Khan never talked to Tarin. However, he remains in contact with Taryn's mother, Sita. Sita White died of a heart attack in 2004. Earlier, Sita had also filed a case against Imran in the American court.
During the hearing, Imran's lawyer said- Before 1992, my client was an active cricketer. He visited many countries. Used to go to nightclubs and pubs. After retiring from cricket, he became a staunchly religious person.
Nawaz Sharif was also disqualified like this
According to Article 62 (1) of the Constitution of Pakistan – there should be no false information in the affidavit given to the Election Commission. After winning, if the allegations of giving false information about a candidate are proven, then he is disqualified for fighting the election. On 28 July 2017, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was disqualified from contesting elections under the same article. There were allegations against him of giving false affidavits in the Panama Papers case.
Difficulties also increased in Toshakhan's case
Imran Khan is caught in the matter of selling expensive gifts received from other countries for crores of rupees.
