Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma created a new history during the India-Pakistan match on 9 June. He became the first batsman in the world to hit a six in the first over of T20I by Pakistan fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.

He registered a unique record in his name by hitting a brilliant six in the first over of Shaheen Shah Afridi in the T20I.

In fact, to date, no batsman had hit a six in the first over of Shaheen Afridi in T20I, but what no one could do was done by Rohit Sharma. Not only this, Rohit Sharma is the first batsman to hit a six in Shaheen Afridi's first over in ODIs.
