Pakistan has defeated India by eight wickets in the Under-19 Asia Cup. Batting first at the ICC Academy ground in Dubai, India scored 259 runs losing nine wickets. In reply, Pakistan achieved the target by losing two wickets in 47 overs. Azaan Awais played an unbeaten inning of 105 runs and captain Saad Baig played an unbeaten inning of 68 runs. Shamail Hussain was out after scoring eight runs and Shazeb Khan was out after scoring 63 runs.
Earlier, three batsmen played half-century innings for India. Adarsh Singh scored the highest score of 62 runs. Uday Saharan contributed 60 runs and Sachin Das contributed 58 runs. Arshin Kulkarni was out after scoring 24 runs and Rudra Patel was out after scoring one run. Pakistan captain Saad Baig won the toss and decided to bowl first. Mohammad Zeeshan took four wickets for Pakistan. Aamir Hasan and Ubaid Shah took two wickets each. Arafat Minhas took one wicket.
