He not only became the player of the match but also the player of the series. Apart from him, emerging all-rounder Venkatesh Iyer also played a brilliant inning. Venkatesh scored 92 runs in 3 innings, with a strike rate of 184.

These players include players like Ishan Kishan, Rituraj Gaikwad, Suryakumar Yadav, Venkatesh Iyer, Harshal Patel, Deepak Hooda, and Avesh Khan. Leg spinner Ravi Bishnoi made a good debut in the series and took 3 wickets while fast bowler Avesh Khan made his debut in the third T20I.

India's bowling attack in the series against West Indies was excellent.
