In the excise policy scam case, the CBI presented Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the Rouse Avenue Court on Wednesday. From here, after the court's permission, the CBI arrested Arvind Kejriwal.

During the hearing in the court, Arvind Kejriwal's sugar level dropped. After this, he was brought out of the courtroom to feed him tea and biscuits. After this, he was taken to the Ahlmad room. During this, his wife Sunita Kejriwal was also present with him.

Kejriwal's lawyer opposed the arrest

After being arrested by the CBI, Kejriwal withdrew the petition from the Supreme Court in which the High Court's decision to stay the bail order of the Rouse Avenue Court was challenged.

Kejriwal's lawyer questioned the CBI's arrest and said that the agency has worked in a biased manner. Kejriwal's advocate Vikram Chaudhary objected to the CBI's decision to arrest him because, in April last year, the agency had interrogated him for nine hours.

CBI questioned Kejriwal in Tihar

Earlier, the CBI reached Tihar Jail on Tuesday and questioned CM Arvind Kejriwal for about three hours. He was asked more than 50 questions including the amount used in Goa elections. According to sources, a 10-member CBI team reached Tihar Jail in the morning itself.

Kejriwal could not answer many questions.

Let us tell you that Kejriwal has been arrested by ED in the money laundering case. He is currently in jail. Today, on Wednesday, the bail plea of Delhi CM is to be heard in the Supreme Court. In such a situation, it is believed that on Wednesday, the CBI can arrest him in its case by presenting him in court on a production warrant.
