India Legends beat Australia Legends by 5 wickets in the first semifinal of Road Safety World Series 2022 to make it to the final, where they will face the winner between West Indies and Sri Lanka. Batting first, Australia scored 171 for 5 in 20 overs. In response, India Legends won the match by 5 wickets with 4 balls to spare thanks to Naman Ojha's unbeaten 90 and then Irfan Pathan's scintillating innings. Naman Ojha scored the highest 90 runs for India. He faced 62 balls in his innings and hit 7 fours and 5 sixes.
The first semi-file of the Road Safety World Series 2022 was played between India Legends and Australia Legends. This match started on Wednesday (28 September), but due to rain, the match had to be stopped and the umpires decided that now it will be played on reserve day i.e. today (29 September). Australia Legends added 45 runs in three overs without losing a wicket on Thursday, playing ahead of Wednesday's score of 136/5. With this, Australia set a target of 172 runs for India to win. Ben Dunk scored 46 runs for Australia in the match played at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur.

The second semi-final of the Road Safety World Series was scheduled for today, but will now be played at the same stadium on 30 September.
