Rob Walter on Quinton De Kock's Retirement Decision: Before the upcoming series against India, South Africa's white ball coach Rob Walter has made a big revelation. Robb said that Quinton de Kock wanted to retire from T20 format with ODI, but after talking to the team management, he changed his mind and now he will be seen playing in the upcoming series against India.

SA vs IND: Quinton De Kock had decided to retire, coach Walter revealed

Quinton De Kock had announced his retirement from 50 over format even before the start of World Cup 2023. He had told me that this was going to be his last tournament in ODI format. South Africa's team was announced yesterday i.e. on Monday.

During this, coach Rob Walter told Sammyt that Kinton de Kock wanted to retire from all formats of international cricket after the 2023 World Cup, but I told him to postpone this decision for now. He has a chance to play in the Big Bash, which is clashing with the series against India (SA vs IND), but we took this decision to keep him in the game.

Quinton De Kock's bat roared fiercely in the World Cup 2023

Let us tell you that De Kock performed brilliantly in the ODI World Cup 2023. A total of 594 runs came from his bat in 10 matches. He was the top scorer of the tournament for South Africa. On his strength, the South African team was able to reach the semi-finals. De Kock has been rested along with Temba Bavuma for the three-match T20 series against India.
