
Indian Army foiled an infiltration attempt by terrorists in the Sudhpora area of the Tangdhar sector adjoining the Line of Control in district Kupwara. Out of two to three terrorists who were trying to infiltrate the Indian side from Pakistan, the security forces killed one near the border. While the other two terrorists managed to return safely after firing. However, after this infiltration attempt, the security forces started a search operation in the areas adjoining the Tangdhar sector.

Apart from incriminating material, arms and ammunition were also recovered from him. As a precaution, the security forces have conducted a search operation in the surrounding areas.
