Team India's winning streak continues in the T20 World Cup. The Indian team, which won a thrilling four-wicket win over Pakistan in the first match, registered a blistering 56-run victory over the Netherlands on Thursday. During this match, Indian players also made many big records in their names.

 

Bhuvi bowler with most maidens

Indian fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled his first two overs in the Netherlands innings. With this, Bhuvi has equaled Jasprit Bumrah's world record for bowling the most maiden overs in T20 International cricket. Both now have 9-9 maiden overs.

Suryakumar Yadav scored 51 runs in just 25 balls against the Netherlands. With this, Surya has become the highest run-scorer in T20 International in the year 2022. He has broken the record of Mohammad Rizwan of Pakistan. Surya has got 867 runs from 25 matches this year. Rizwan has 839 runs from 20 matches.

Rohit becomes India's Sixer King in T20 World Cup

Rohit Sharma scored 53 runs in 39 balls in this match. Rohit also hit three sixes in this innings. With this, Rohit has become the batsman to score the most sixes for India in the T20 World Cup. He now has 34 sixes in 35 matches in this tournament. Earlier this record was in the name of Yuvraj Singh. Yuvraj Singh had hit 33 sixes in 31 matches. Overall this record is in the name of Chris Gayle of West Indies. Gayle had hit 63 sixes in 33 matches in the T20 World Cup. After Gayle, the number of Rohit and Yuvraj comes only.

 

Virat breaks Chris Gayle's record

Team India's batsman Virat Kohli, who is in excellent form, played an unbeaten 62 off 44 balls in this match. He has now come to the second position in terms of scoring the most runs in the history of the T20 World Cup. Before this match, Virat was third and West Indies' Chris Gayle was number two.
