The head of the World Health Organization said the agency is deeply concerned about increasing reports of severe coronavirus disease in China. China largely relaxed its zero covid policy, after which the cases of corona started increasing rapidly. Although China has not officially said anything on this.

World Health Organization worried about China

At a press briefing on Wednesday, WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said the UN agency needed more information on the severity of COVID-19 in China, particularly hospital and intensive care unit admissions. Is. Tedros said, 'WHO is very concerned about the evolving situation with increasing reports of serious illness in China.' He said that while Covid deaths have declined by more than 90% since the global peak, there are still a lot of uncertainties about the virus.

China will have three waves in three months

Some scientists have warned that the uncontrolled spread of COVID-19 in China could lead to new variants. Wu Junyou, the chief physician of the Department of Infectious Diseases in China, has said that the fresh infection of the coronavirus will occur throughout the cold season. There will be three waves of this in three months. He told that at present the first wave of infection is going on which will remain till the middle of January.

How long will the corona outbreak last in China?

Wu Junyou said that after this there will be a second and third wave. But he has not said anything about the deaths in these. Wu said this at a press conference in Beijing. Let us tell you that the experts in western countries have also said that the peak level of corona infection will come in China in April.
