Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant spoke on his suspension after the win against Lucknow Super Giants. He said that if he had not been suspended in the match played against Royal Challengers Bangalore, Delhi would have made a strong claim to reach the playoffs. On Tuesday, Delhi defeated Lucknow by 19 runs. This was the last match of Delhi Capitals this season. Now the team will have to depend on the results of other teams.

Captain Rishabh Pant talked about the playoffs after the win. "Nicholas Pooran was making it difficult for us. We had some plans, but overall the match was pretty good. We kept bowling good balls. I would say the season started with a lot of expectations. We had a few injuries," he said. The players got hurt, but we're still competitive after the last game."
What is the equation?
The Lucknow team is still technically in IPL. However, it has one match left and the team can reach a maximum of 14 points only. He has 14 points in 13 matches. Royal Challengers Bangalore is in the race for the playoffs with 12 points. He has to face Chennai Super Kings on 18th May. Sunrisers Hyderabad's next two matches are against Gujarat Titans and Punjab Kings. If the SRH team wins even one match then it will reach the playoffs. At the same time, if Sunrisers lose both matches, then the equation of both Chennai and Bengaluru reaching together can also be created.

The 26-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman further said, "If I had got a chance to play in the last game, we would have had a better chance of qualifying. Personally, it was great to be back.
