Iran's President Ibrahim Raisi has threatened America to avenge the death of General Qasim Soleimani. On the occasion of Soleimani's second anniversary, Raisi said that former US President Donald Trump and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo must be tried for the murder of Soleimani. President Raisi said in a speech on Monday, "If Trump and Pompeo are not prosecuted for the murder of General Soleimani, then the Muslim community will avenge the martyrdom." He called former President Trump the attacker, killer, and main accused and said that he should be tried according to Islamic law.
According to the Islamic law of Iran, the person convicted of murder is hanged, unless the victim's family is not ready for reconciliation by taking 'blood money.
On the other hand, Iran's justice authorities have accused 127 people from nine countries of the murder of Soleimani. These countries have been informed about this. 74 of these accused are US citizens.
