Bihar Assembly: During Tejashwi's statement, opposition MLAs raised the chair, CM said - no compensation for death due to alcohol

The continuation of death due to spurious liquor continues in Bihar. The opposition is busy besieging the Nitish government regarding the matter. Now on Friday, as soon as Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav started speaking in the Assembly, the opposition MLAs lifted the chairs and started a ruckus in the House.

There was an uproar in the Bihar Legislative Assembly on the third day as well. The main opposition party BJP leaders shouted slogans in the House on this issue. On the other hand, the opposition is demanding an apology from Nitish Kumar on his statement 'Jo piyega, wo marega'.

There is no question of assisting death by drinking alcohol.

On the other hand, Nitish Kumar replied to the opposition and said that no compensation will be given for death due to alcohol. Will we give him assistance on death by drinking alcohol? This question does not even arise... That's why these things are not correct. The parties were not with us when we used to contest the elections to the parliament, yet the people of CPI-CPM used to support us.

What did the CM say in his statement?

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said on Thursday on deaths due to spurious liquor that "who drinks will die. Consumption of liquor is banned in Bihar. People need to be explained." He said to catch the one who is doing the mess. Motivate him to do good work. We have implemented a prohibition on the will of Bapu and the women of Bihar.

Surrounding the opposition, Nitish Kumar said that those sitting in the opposition who are asking about these deaths in Bihar, ask them how many people are dying of spurious liquor wherever they rule. A liquor ban has been implemented in Bihar with everyone's consent. You also run a campaign against alcohol.

This incident in Bihar is not a death but a massacre - Vijay Sinha

Leader of the opposition Bihar Legislative Assembly Vijay Kumar Sinha said that the figure of the dead in Chhapra is not correct. We have gone and met the families of the deceased yesterday. Vijay Kumar Sinha alleged that the bodies of the dead were burnt without a postmortem. The liquor business is going on in Bihar with the connivance of the police.

He said that Tejashwi Prasad Yadav and Nitish Kumar are together in power because of their advantages. The government should give compensation of 10 lakhs to the family who died of alcohol. The incident that has happened is not a death but a massacre. We will meet the Governor at 12:30 in the day and we will demand his intervention in this.
