Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' is getting huge public support in Kerala. This morning on the tenth day of the yatra, it proceeded from Puthiyakavu in the Kollam district of Kerala, attracting a huge crowd in the yatra.
Rahul Gandhi is an MP from Wayanad, Kerala. He is giving full thrust to strengthen the hold of the party in the state. The yatra started on September 7 from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu. The journey will last for 150 days. During this time it will pass through 12 states. The 3570 km long journey will culminate in Jammu and Kashmir. The Yatra will pass through 20 cities in 12 states.
Hundreds of Congress workers are accompanying Rahul in the yatra. They have Congress flags in their hands. Gandhi and the members of the yatra had halted at Karunagapalli on Friday after walking about 24 km. Today the yatra resumed at 6.30 am. It will cover a distance of about 12 km and enter the Alappuzha district. During this, it will take a break at Kayamkulam at 11 am. After this, it will start again at 5 pm and after walking for eight kilometers, today's journey will end with a public meeting at Cheppad.
