After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22, President Trump expressed condolences to PM Modi over the phone and also expressed support in the fight against terrorism. This was the first time they were talking after that. Therefore, PM Modi talked to President Trump in detail about Operation Sindoor.'

Vikram Misri said, 'Prime Minister Modi told President Trump that during this entire incident, topics like India-US trade deal or India-Pakistan mediation were never discussed at any level. The talks about stopping military action were held directly through the channel between the armies of India and Pakistan. This conversation took place only after Pakistan's request.'
