Disha Patani's home shooting: The Main shooter was killed; a search is underway for two criminals who spread terror on the 11th

The two shooters killed by the joint STF and police team in the Disha Patani house shooting case were carrying a reward of Rs 1 lakh each. In addition, two other shooters who opened fire on the first day also carry a reward of Rs 1 lakh each from the ADG level, and the police are pursuing them.

 

SSP Anurag Arya stated that the main shooter who opened fire on the house of retired CO Jagdish Patani on the morning of September 12th was Ravindra, a resident of Vahani village in Rohtak, Haryana, and the Apache rider was Arun, a resident of Indian Basti Godana Road in Sonipat. Both were killed by the joint team. On the first day, on the morning of September 11th, Nakul, a resident of Lohadda village in Baghpat, who arrived on a Super Splendor bike, opened fire while Vijay Tomar, a resident of Wajidpur in Baghpat, was driving the bike.

 

The SSP traced them two days later and revealed their names during the investigation. A reward of Rs 25,000 each was announced for all four shooters. The DIG announced a reward of fifty thousand rupees for these four, and then a reward of one lakh rupees each was announced for all four at the ADG level. The team has also traced Nakul and Vijay, and they will be arrested soon.

 

Encounter in Ghaziabad's Techno City

 

In connection with the firing incident at actress Disha Patani's house in Bareilly, the UP STF and Delhi Special Cell killed two criminals in an encounter in Techno City on Wednesday evening. Both criminals were active members of the Goldy Brar and Rohit Godara gangs. A reward of one lakh rupees each was announced for both criminals. Four policemen were also injured in the encounter and have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.

 

ASP Rajkumar Mishra of the UP STF Noida Unit stated that four criminals were named in the firing incident at Disha Patani's house in Bareilly on September 12. The Goldy Brar gang claimed responsibility for the firing. Ravindra, a resident of Kahni, Rohtak, and Arun, a resident of Indian Colony, Gohna Road, Sonipat, were injured in the encounter. Both were admitted to the hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries. A search is underway for their two companions, Nakul and Vijay, residents of Baghpat.

 

Two policemen from the Delhi Police Special Cell and two from the UP Special Task Force (STF) were injured in the encounter. A Glock and a Jigana pistol, along with a large quantity of ammunition, were recovered from the scene. Police are gathering more information about the two criminals.

 

Firing at the actress's home on September 12

Bicycle-borne criminals fired approximately nine rounds at Disha Patani's home in Bareilly at around 3:45 am on September 12. Following the attack, the Goldy Brar and Rohit Godara gangs claimed responsibility on social media. They claimed it was retaliation for comments made by the actress's sister, Khushboo Patani, about preachers Premananda Maharaj and Aniruddhacharya.

 

Cutbacks from CCTV

Uttar Pradesh Additional Director General (ADG) of Law and Order, Amitabh Yash, stated that the police examined CCTV footage, gathered intelligence, and compared records with neighboring states. This led to the identification of the shooters who opened fire at the actress's home.

 

Disha Patani's father expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister

Actress Disha Patani's father, retired Deputy Superintendent of Police Jagdish Patani, spoke with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday and expressed his gratitude. He said that the police's action against the attackers in such a short time proved the vision of a fear-free society in the state.

 

Jagdish Patani released a 34-second video message after the two criminals were killed in an encounter on Wednesday. Patani said that the Chief Minister had spoken to him after the firing at his home and assured him of strict action against the criminals and the safety of his entire family.

 

He said that the Chief Minister had lived up to his assurances. Under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath, the state police is proving the vision of a crime-free state and a fear-free society. He expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister and the UP Police for this.
