Maharashtra Bus Accident: Fierce fire broke out in the bus after colliding with the divider, and 26 passengers were burnt alive; declaration of compensation

A horrific road accident took place late Friday night in Buldhana district of Maharashtra. 26 passengers died when a bus caught fire in Buldhana. This bus was going from Nagpur to Pune, met with an accident on the way.

 

Injured are undergoing treatment at Buldhana Civil Hospital

Police said that the private travel bus was going from Nagpur to Pune when it hit the divider near Sindkhedraja in Buldhana district at around 1.30 am. 26 passengers on board the bus were burnt to death after hitting the divider.

 

Along with this, many people have been injured in this accident. Police said that the injured are being treated at Buldhana Civil Hospital.

 

There were 33 people on the bus

Buldhana SP Sunil Kadasane said that according to preliminary information, the tire of the bus burst, causing it to hit a pole and divider and caught fire. Of the 33 passengers on the bus, 26 were charred to death, the official said. The remaining eight passengers have been taken to a nearby hospital, he added. Everyone is safe.

 

CM announced compensation

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has expressed grief over this accident. Expressing grief over the accident, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde announced a compensation of Rs five lakh for those killed in the accident.
