A senior health official has told on Twitter that on the birthday of PM Modi, 42 thousand people are being vaccinated every minute, or 700 people per second. Health Ministry sources say that at this speed 25 million vaccines can be administered today. The government has also installed a real-time tracker on the Cowin portal, which is updating every moment, with a target of 2 crore vaccines on PM Modi's 71st birthday. Till 2:50 pm, 1 crore 35 lakh people have got the vaccine.
National Health Authority chief RS Sharma shared the real-time tracker on Twitter and wrote, "Celebrating the tireless efforts of India's vaccinated against COVID-19.
