A senior health official has told on Twitter that on the birthday of PM Modi, 42 thousand people are being vaccinated every minute, or 700 people per second. The government has also installed a real-time tracker on the Cowin portal, which is updating every moment, with a target of 2 crore vaccines on PM Modi's 71st birthday. Till 2:50 pm, 1 crore 35 lakh people have got the vaccine.
