Now recently, Yami Gautam The actress has expressed happiness over her father and filmmaker Mukesh Gautam receiving the first National Film Award and said that the whole family is proud of her father.

 

Yami Gautam's father received the Best Punjabi Film award at the 70th National Film Awards for his film Baaghi Di Dhi. The 70th National Film Awards ceremony was held at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi on Tuesday. President Draupadi Murmu felicitated the award winners. Yami shared an emotional post for her father on Instagram.

The actress could not attend the event, but she captured this special moment of watching her father receive the award and posted the clip on her Instagram. Yami, who was watching the ceremony on television, shared pictures of the live telecast. She said that she got very emotional seeing her father on stage, adding that she is very proud of her father.

 

The actress wrote, "It was a very emotional moment as my father Mukesh Gautam received his first National Award as a director for his film - Baaghi Di Dhi."

 

Yami added, "The emotion cannot be described in words. I am so proud of my daughter. My father's journey to this point has been one of the toughest I have seen, yet it did not deter him from his hard work and immense sincerity in his work ethic. Your family is so proud of you, Papa."
