Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the G-7 summit on Monday at the Schloss Elmau Palace in Bavaria, Germany. Modi will mainly participate in two sessions of the G-7. Climate, energy, health, food security, and gender equality will be the focus of the summit. Apart from this, Ukraine-Russia war, India's stand on the situation in the Indo-Pacific region will also be included in the discussion. After this, he will also visit the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

 

Earlier on Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Munich, Germany to attend the 48th summit of the G-7. There he addressed the Indian community. The hotel where the conference is going to be held does not have an air conditioner. The palace has an eco-friendly cooling system, where the temperature is maintained at 8 degrees Celsius. The hotel has also hosted the G-7 in 2015. There are 47 Presidential Suites to host, which are separate from the main hotel. It's called the retreat. The PM will leave for UAE on June 27 from Germany.

 

G-7 is a group of seven countries

 

The G-7 group is a grouping of the seven richest countries in the world, currently headed by Germany. The group includes Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, and the United States. Countries like Argentina, Indonesia, Senegal, and South Africa have also been invited.

 

US President Joe Biden, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, French President Emmanuel Macron, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and many other top leaders are participating in this meeting.
