Indian team's fast bowler Mohammed Shami won the hearts of cricket lovers with his brilliant performance against New Zealand in the World Cup semi-finals. After the match, Shami said that he was trying to reduce the speed of the ball while bowling the over so that the batsmen were forced to take shots. “We talk a lot about variations, but I still believe in increasing it and taking wickets with the new ball. I focused on trying to reduce the speed of the ball so that the batsmen were forced to hit it in the air. Due to this, he was successful in taking wickets.

However, Shami admitted that the Indian camp was a little worried due to the dew in the evening. After Hardik Pandya's injury, Shami got a place in the playing 11. On this, the fast bowler said that he was waiting to get a chance in the playing 11 team. He said I was waiting for my chance. I haven't played much white ball cricket. My comeback started against New Zealand (in Dharamsala).
