RG Kar Case: Angry doctors' protest continues; CBI conducted medical examination of Sandeep Ghosh and three others late at night

Doctors' protest against the brutality of a 31-year-old female doctor at RG Kar College-Hospital in Kolkata continues. Junior doctors were seen protesting in the Lal Bazar area. Earlier, Bengal State BJP launched DM Office Gherao Abhiyan across the state on Monday demanding justice in the case of a junior doctor of RG Kar Medical College. Former Union Minister of State for Home Nishith Pramanik, who was leading the protesters in Sagardighi of Cooch Behar, was arrested by the police. To disperse the crowd of protesters, the police resorted to lathi-charge and also used water cannons.

 

Sandeep Ghosh and three others were arrested, medical examination late at night

The CBI team investigating the case conducted a medical examination of the former principal of RG Kar Hospital Dr. Sandeep Ghosh and three others at BR Singh Hospital (Eastern Railway). Late night, officials of the CBI's Anti-Corruption Branch were seen outside the hospital.
