Addressing the workers, the PM praised Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. Modi said that yesterday Nirmala Ji has very beautiful, very well presented some aspects of the budget in front of us. The entire budget is not possible in the budget speech because there is a huge document in the budget, there are details and it is not even possible to speak all this in the house.

Modi said that at present the country is fighting the biggest global pandemic in 100 years. This period of Corona has brought many challenges to the world. The world has come to a standstill at a crossroads where the turning point is fixed. The world that we are about to see next will not be the same as it was before Corona.

Modi told the workers that this is the time for new opportunities, it is time for fulfillment of new resolutions. India must become self-reliant and a modern India should be built on the foundation of self-reliant India. In the year 2013-14, India's export was Rs 2 lakh 85 thousand crores. Today India's export has reached around Rs 4 lakh 70 thousand crores.

It is not right to lag in a country like India.

In a country like India, if some area remains backward, some area should be left behind, it is not right. That's why we started the Aspirational District Campaign. The work done for the education, health, electricity, water for the poor in these districts has also been praised by the United Nations.

That is why the patriotic spirit of those border villages is also amazing. Another major campaign related to national defense has been announced in the budget. This is the mountain range project. It is going to expand the modern connectivity and modern infrastructure in the Himalayan regions.

agriculture should be modernized

Modi said that today the need of the hour is that India's agriculture should also become modern and adopt new methods. Reduce the burden on farmers. Big steps have been taken in this budget to make the country's agriculture technology-based and chemical-free. In the last budget, we ensured the facility of Kisan Rail and Kisan Udan, now Kisan Drone is going to become the new companion of the farmer. Drone technology will not only help the farmer, but real-time data of production will also be available. Help will also be given through NABARD to fund the start-ups associated with it. Every year, lakhs of crores of rupees that we send abroad to buy edible oil, only the farmers of the country should get it, for this special schemes are being implemented. A big campaign is going on to make Annadata a power donor, through which help is being given to installing solar panels on the farm itself.

Rumors spread on MSP

Modi said that many kinds of things have been spread about MSP too, but our government has made record purchases on MSP in the last years. Talking about paddy alone, farmers are expected to get more than Rs 1.5 lakh crore as MSP this season.

Provision of Rs 68 thousand crores under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi

In the last budget, the fertilizer subsidy was kept at less than Rs 80,000 crore, but due to Corona, there was a huge jump in international prices due to disturbances in the supply chain. Now where we had made a provision of about 80 thousand crore rupees, we had to invest 60 thousand crores more. In this year's budget, a provision of Rs 68 thousand crores has been made under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. This amount is also more than last year. This will also benefit about 11 crore farmers of the country.

The scope of technology has been continuously expanded over the years to provide better opportunities for education and skills to the youth. In this budget, it has been decided to expand it and make it the first digital university. With this poor children will also be able to do easily with short courses, quality education.

Now mobile banking, internet banking, ATM, and online fund transfer facility will be available in post office accounts like banks. At present, there are more than 1.5 lakh post offices in the country, most of which are in villages. Those who have a Sukanya Samriddhi account and PPF account in the post office, also do not need to go to the post office to deposit their installments.
