According to NASA, this asteroid is 72 feet big and is moving very fast toward the Earth. NASA has also told about the speed of this asteroid and its distance from the earth. This asteroid is known as 2022 YG5.

According to the data shared by NASA, Asteroid 2022 YG5 is moving very fast and may pass near the Earth today. This asteroid named 2022 YG5 will pass near the Earth from a distance of 3.7 km. According to NASA, this asteroid has been moving toward the Earth for a long time. At the same time, while telling about its speed, NASA said that it will move towards the earth at a speed of 25680 kilos per hour, which is almost double that of a hypersonic missile. Although earlier this asteroid was said to pass close to the Earth on the 1st, now it will pass today.

NASA further said that this asteroid can be destroyed long ago, due to which it will not cause any harm to the earth. At the same time, it is not a threat to the Earth's surface under any circumstances, but NASA's Planetary Defense Coordination Office has put it in the category of dangerous objects.
