Nitish Kumar has taken oath as the Chief Minister of Bihar for the eighth time. In the Hindi belt states, on the one hand, the BJP is capturing power by defeating the opposition camp, on the other hand, in Bihar, the BJP, while in power, was evicted without elections. The biggest reason behind this is Nitish Kumar. Despite being the third party in the state assembly elections, Nitish Kumar held the key to power. Now Nitish Kumar's statement is giving a big indication before the Lok Sabha elections to be held in the year 2024. Nitish did not give a direct answer to the question of the opposition's PM candidate in the general election, but he said that Narendra Modi will not be the PM in 2024. His statement is raising many questions and possibilities in political circles.
Earlier, under the big political developments in Bihar, Nitish Kumar took forward his new relationship with the Grand Alliance, leaving the NDA, and once again took the key of power into his hands. However, this time he will be accompanied by Tejashwi Yadav, son of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav as Deputy CM. After taking oath at Raj Bhavan, Nitish Kumar made a big attack on the BJP. He said that he was trying to break his alliance with the BJP for two months. He accused the BJP of trying to defame and bring down his party.
Will Nitish be a PM candidate?
Nitish Kumar was answering questions from the media. During this, someone asked him whether he is the PM candidate from the opposition in the year 2024. Nitish did not answer this question but said that the year is not going to be the same in 2024 as in 2014. He said that Narendra Modi is not going to be PM in 2024. Political experts are treating his words as a big statement. Nitish's words indicate that he wants to go to the race of Delhi in the year 2024 as a PM candidate.
Hints were also given in 2019
Sources reveal that in the year 2019, even though Nitish Kumar had given his support to Narendra Modi and targeted the Grand Alliance, saying that the opposition has no future, Nitish did not want to give his support to Narendra Modi in his mind. He also released his statement in support of Narendra Modi late.
Opposition is seeing a glimpse of PM in Nitish?
A senior opposition leader said Nitish Kumar is one of many leaders with ambitions to become prime minister, including West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Janata Dal (U) National Parliamentary Board President Upendra Kushwaha said in Patna that we are not making any claim today, but he has all the qualities of a Prime Minister.
Nitish has just kept his silence
Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Sharad Yadav also said that Kumar could be the prime ministerial candidate for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Nitish Kumar, however, refused to answer questions about his being the prime ministerial face in the next Lok Sabha elections as he has formed a new government with the Grand Alliance after resigning as the NDA chief minister.
Shiv Sena's statement
Shiv Sena leader Priyanka Chaturvedi said that Nitish Kumar's political career has been spotless as far as allegations of corruption are concerned, but one thing that goes against him is that he has changed political allies several times.
