For this, you have to ask any of your friends or family members to visit your Instagram profile.

Then you have to click on the Hamburg icon appearing on the right side.

Now click on the report option.

Select the Report Account option.

Now you will get to see many options out of which you will have to select one.

In this, you have to provide a valid reason for reporting the account. You can select It's pretending to be someone else.

Then you have to click on the option of Someone I Know.

After receiving the report, Instagram will check the profile and contact you for this.

How to request to get access to the account

Hackers can also log out of your account and change the password from all the devices to hack your account. In such a situation, you can request for login link from Instagram through email.

When you open Instagram, you will see the login screen.

Once the password is changed, select the option of Getting help logging in.

In doing so, Instagram sends a special link to your inbox. You open the mail and then follow the given instructions.

You can also log in with security code

If the above-mentioned method does not work then you can request a security code.

Open Instagram. On the login screen, select the Get Help Logging In option.

Now enter your username, email address, and phone number. Need more help now? Select and follow the on-screen instructions. After that click on Send security code.

Check your email inbox now. A code will appear on it.

Enter this code on the Instagram app. Now verify your identity to recover the account.
