Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday inaugurated two new offices of the Defense Ministry under the Central Vista Project. These Defense Office Complexes are at Kasturba Gandhi Marg and Africa Avenue in Delhi. PM Modi also addressed the officials on this occasion. He said that today in the 75th year of independence, we are taking an important step towards developing the capital of the country according to the needs and aspirations of the new India. The new Defense Office Complex is going to further strengthen our efforts to make the work of our forces more convenient, more effective.
PM Modi said that today, when we are trying to modernize India's military strength in every respect, equipping it with modern weapons, the purchase of the army's requirement is accelerating, then the work related to the defense of the country is decades old. Well, how can this be possible?

PM Modi said that the work of the Defense Office Complex which was to be completed in 24 months has been completed in just 12 months. That too when all the other challenges ranging from labor were to the fore in the circumstances created by Corona. Hundreds of workers got employment in this project during the Corona period.
Both the office buildings were built under the first phase of the Central Vista project
