Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi has said that the Indian Army has prepared a framework for the decade of change to face the challenges of the future. The objective of this change is to increase the operational and administrative capability of the army.
The Army Chief was addressing the soldiers on the occasion of the 77th Army Day Parade in Pune on Wednesday. From 2023, the Army has started organizing the Army Day Parade and other related programs in other cities outside Delhi. Speaking on this occasion, General Manoj Pandey praised the army and said that due to the efforts of the army, violence has reduced significantly in the interior areas of Jammu and Kashmir, which is considered very sensitive.
"Last year, along with the parliamentary and assembly elections, Amarnath Yatra was also conducted peacefully. Apart from this, the efforts of the army are also helping in establishing peace in many other provinces."
