Pakistan's Airforce carried out airstrikes on Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) hideouts in Afghanistan on Thursday. Afghanistan's newspaper Hasht-e-Subah has revealed this in a report.
According to the newspaper, these airstrikes have been carried out in Salala Gushta town of Nangarhar state, considered a stronghold of TTP. It is being claimed on social media that four civilians working at a dairy have been killed in this airstrike. A child is also included in these. Till now Pakistani army nor the Taliban government of Afghanistan has not said anything about this airstrike.
just bombed
Newspaper reports and inputs from social media say that fighter jets of Pakistan Airforce carried out airstrikes in Afghanistan twice in a single day. The first attack was carried out in the early hours of Thursday and the second at around 11 am. According to reports, there was no firing during this period, only bombardment was done from a height.
Signs were received three days ago
TTP attacks are increasing continuously in Pakistan. Now the capital Islamabad has also come under their control. Last week there was a fidayeen attack in Islamabad. A police officer was killed in this and 6 people were injured.
After this, Shahbaz Sharif called a cabinet meeting on Monday. After the meeting, Home Minister Rana Sanaullah said – Pakistan can go to any extent for its security. If the Taliban government of Afghanistan does not stop TTP, then we will enter Afghanistan and kill these terrorists. After this, the news of the airstrike came on Thursday.
Afghanistan will not sit silent
The tension between Afghanistan and Pakistan regarding TTP is taking a very dangerous form. All entry and exit points on the Durand line between the two countries have been closed. The situation is such that about 16 Pakistani soldiers have been killed in the firing between the two countries in two months. The Pakistani government blames TTP for the attacks.
Rana Sanaullah's threat was responded to by senior Taliban leader and Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Yasir by sharing a photo on social media. Shared a caption in Urdu with this. First, know about this photo. This photo is of the war between India and Pakistan in 1971. The Pakistani army was badly defeated. More than 90 thousand of his soldiers had surrendered.
The surrender document was signed by Lieutenant General Aamir Abdullah Khan Niazi on behalf of Pakistan. Lieutenant General Jagjit Singh Arora of our army was present right next to him. After this surrender, Bangladesh became a separate country, and Pakistan was divided into two.
Now let's talk about the caption that Taliban leader Yasir wrote with this photo. Said in it - Rana Sanaullah, tremendous. Don't forget this is Afghanistan. This is Afghanistan where graves of great powers have been built. Don't dream of a military attack on us, otherwise, the result will be as shameful as what happened to you in front of India.
Why Pakistan Taliban and Afghan Taliban are different
On 15 August 2021, the Afghan Taliban captured the entire Afghanistan along with Kabul. There are two factions of the Taliban. First- Afghanistan Taliban. It has people from many communities including Tajik, Uzbek, Pashtun, and Hazara. Second- TTP means Taliban Pakistan. It consists mostly of Pashtuns and Pathans. They are active in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Waziristan of Pakistan.
The aim or say the ideology of the Afghan Taliban and Pakistan Taliban is the same. Both want to implement hardline Islam and Sharia law. TTP says that Pakistan is a half-incomplete Islamic country and Sharia law should be fully implemented here.
TTP carries out attacks in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Waziristan, and the rest of the country to enforce its terms. Recently, he carried out a fidayeen attack in the capital Islamabad. A police officer was killed in this and many people were injured.
The biggest difficulty of the Pakistani army and government is that now the rebels of Balochistan have also joined hands with TTP. Overall, these are very dangerous signs for Pakistan. On the other hand, Afghan Taliban are fully supporting TTP. The Afghan Taliban do not even accept the Pakistan-Afghanistan border i.e. Durand Line. Due to this dispute, there was a lot of firing in the past. Many soldiers and common citizens of Pakistan were killed in this.
Defense Ministry too strict
A few hours after this statement, the Defense Ministry of Afghanistan also issued a separate statement. Said- Pakistan is making baseless allegations. We do not have any shelter for TTP. It should not live under the illusion that Afghanistan is weak or has no master. We know very well how to protect our country. If there is an attack, we will give a befitting reply.
