The pace of development in the state will be accelerated. This is Modi's second visit to Himachal within nine days. By addressing rallies in Chamba and Una, people will be filled with electoral enthusiasm.
Will lay the foundation stone of Bulk Drug Park
Modi will lay the foundation stone of the Bulk Drug Park in Haroli, Una from Indira Stadium to be set up for Rs 1200 crore. The park will prove to be a milestone for the development of the state and the pharmaceutical industry. The pharmaceutical industry will not have to depend on China for the raw material i.e. Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs). The cost of production of medicines will be less and people will get medicines cheaper. At present, the pharmaceutical industry imports 85 percent of its raw materials from China.
Travel will be pleasant by Vande Bharat Express train
Modi will flag off the Vande Bharat Express running between Amb-Andaura to Delhi. This will be the fourth Vande Bharat train in the country. The journey to Delhi by train with a speed of 130 km will be covered in about five and a half hours. This train will run six days a week. He will also inaugurate Triple IT at Una. The proposed foundation stone laying of the Una-Hamirpur railway line has been postponed.
The third phase of the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana launched
After this, Modi will launch the third phase of the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana for Himachal from Chaugan in Chamba.
