PM Modi: 'Bharwad community should adopt natural farming', PM Modi appealed under the campaign 'One tree in the name of Mother'

Prime Minister Narendra Modi appealed to the Bharvad community of Gujarat to adopt natural farming and plant trees under the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign. He urged the community, which is mainly engaged in animal husbandry, to contribute to making the country a developed nation by 2047. PM Modi addressed the community members gathered in large numbers to attend a religious program at Bavaliali Dham in Dholera taluka of Ahmedabad through a virtual medium.

 

He said that we have caused a lot of pain to our mother earth, as we kept drawing water continuously and then putting toxic chemicals in it. Now it is our responsibility to make it healthy again. He said that cow dung can help revive the earth. I urge all of you to adopt natural farming and serve the mother earth. He said that people should adopt natural farming and also plant trees under the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign. He appealed to the community to get their cattle vaccinated free of cost by the Center to protect them from foot and mouth disease.

 

Teach computers to daughters.

PM Modi described Bavaliyali Dham as a place of faith, culture, and religion. He appealed to the community to bring changes according to the circumstances and teach their daughters to operate computers. Earlier in the day, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel visited Bavaliyali Dham and participated in the religious program of the Bharvad community.

 

Animal keepers are also getting the benefit of the Kisan Credit Card.

The PM said that we have to build a developed India in the next 25 years and for this, I need the support of your community. And I firmly believe that the first step is to make our villages developed. He said that earlier Kisan Credit Card was given only to farmers. Now we have also given its benefit to animal keepers so that they can take loans at low interest rates. He said that we are also running the National Gokul Mission for the conservation of native bovine breeds. You should take advantage of these schemes.
