Prime Minister Narendra Modi today chaired a meeting of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) Society amid decreasing cases of corona in the country. PM Modi attended the event via video conference. Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan also attended this meeting. Eminent scientists, industrialists, and senior officials also participated in it.

 

During his address, PM Modi said that today India wants to become self-reliant and empowered in every direction, from agriculture to astronomy, from disaster management to defense technology, from vaccine to virtual reality, from biotechnology to battery technologies.
