PM Modi thanks world leaders including Biden, best wishes on assuming the presidency of India's G-20

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday thanked world leaders, including US President Joe Biden and French President Emmanuel Macron, for their good wishes on assuming the chairmanship of India's G20 grouping. During this, he also called upon all the leaders to work together at the global level.

Responding to a tweet by Biden on India assuming the presidency of the G20, PM Modi thanked the US President. He stressed the importance of working closely with Biden. He said one, thank you to the President of America. Your valuable support will be a source of strength for India's G20 Presidency. We all must work together to build a better planet.

It is known that US President Biden said in his tweet on Friday that India is a strong partner of America and he looks forward to supporting his friend Prime Minister Modi during India's G20 presidency.

 

Thanks to Emmanuel Macron

French President Emmanuel Macron tweeted, 'One Earth, One Family, One Future. India has taken over the presidency of G-20. I trust my friend Narendra Modi to bring us together to build a world of peace and a more sustainable world. Responding to Macron's tweet, PM Modi said, 'Thank you, my dear friend, Emmanuel Macron. I look forward to consulting closely with you during India's G20 Presidency, as we work to focus the world's attention on issues affecting humanity as a whole.'

 

Thanks to the President of the European Council

Modi thanked European Council President Charles Michel for his good wishes. He said in his tweet, 'Thank you, Charles Michel. Looking forward to your active participation as we collectively work towards global good. It may be known that the President of the European Council, Michel, had congratulated India on assuming the presidency of the G-20. Modi also thanked Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez for his wishes. PM Modi said, 'Thank you, Pedro Sanchez.
