Will launch 'Subhadra' scheme in Odisha
The Prime Minister will visit Odisha on the occasion of his birthday on 17 September. Here in Bhubaneswar, he will launch the 'Subhadra' scheme at a program organized at Janata Maidan. More than one crore women are expected to benefit under this scheme. Under this scheme, all eligible beneficiaries aged 21-60 years will get Rs 50000 over 5 years between 2024-25 to 2028-29. An amount of Rs 10,000 per year in two equal installments will be deposited directly into the bank account linked to the Aadhaar card of the beneficiary. On this occasion, the Prime Minister will launch the transfer of funds to the bank accounts of more than 10 lakh women.
