Srinagar, Jan 17 (IANS) At least one policeman was killed and a civilian injured Saturday in a separatist guerrilla attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam district.
Police said militants attacked a motorbike on which a policeman was riding pillion in Rudwina area in the morning. He was later identified as Zahoor Ahmad Dar, a personal security guard of National Conference (NC) MLA from Homeshalibugh seat, Abdul Majid Larmi.
"Zahoor Ahmad Dar died on the spot in the attack while another person, a civilian identified as Zahoor Ahmad Ellahi, was injured. He has been shifted to hospital," a police officer said.
