In Gurugram, Haryana, adjacent to the country's capital Delhi, the matter of offering Namaz in public places is gaining momentum. On Friday, once again the local people protested against offering Namaz in public places. The representatives of Hindu organizations, who reached Sector-12A area of Gurugram in a series of protests, have been detained by the Gurugram Police. The number of people taken into custody is said to be 30. After being taken into custody, all the people have been kept in the Bajghera police station. Because of the protest, security has been beefed up wherever Muslim community members offer prayers.
Let us inform you that on Friday, permission has been given by the Gurugram Police Administration to offer Namaz at 37 places in the district. Earlier, the situation had turned tense last week, when people who were offering prayers at private land in Sector 12-A of Gurugram had a protest. Workers of a Hindu organization were also involved in this. During this, the crowd gathered here had also raised slogans of Jai Shri Ram.
It is worth noting that the protest against open Namaz in Gurugram has intensified since last month. In Gurugram Sector 47 last month, Friday prayers were offered in the open several times, which was opposed by members of RW and people associated with various Hindu organizations. During this, when people of many organizations reached during the open prayers, the police told them that in the meeting of the district administration it was decided that where the Namaz would be held? Even after this, the people's protest continued.
Earlier on October 15, local people had protested against offering Namaz at an open park in Sector-47 of Gurugram. During this, local people sang hymns with the help of mics and speakers. During this, slogans were also raised against the government. On this occasion, around 70-80 people with placards in their hands were protesting against the increase in prayers in public places in the presence of a heavy police force.
