PSEB 8th Result 2023 Out Punjab Board 8th result released, 98.01% pass percentage, less than previous years

PSEB 8th Class Result 2023: The result of the class VIII board exam has been released by the Punjab Board on Friday, April 28. Around three lakh candidates appeared in the examination. PSEB Chairperson Dr. Satbir Bedi and Vice Chairman Varinder Kumar Bhatia announced the names of the toppers.

 

The pass percentage of Punjab Board Class VIII is low this year, this year 98.01% of students passed the exam. In 2022, the board recorded a pass percentage of 98.25. As per the reports, almost students who appeared for the Class VIII exam result can check their scores on the official website of PSEB, pseb.ac.in.

Parents of the children who appeared in the Punjab Board Class VIII examination may note that they will be able to see the results of their children on Saturday only, despite the results being released on Friday. Because the result of class VIII will be updated tomorrow on the website of PSEB.

 

Step 1: Student or parent visit the PSEB official website - pseb.ac.in.

 

Step 2: Click on the Class VIII result link.

Step 3: Enter your roll number and password.

Step 4: Once you have successfully logged in, the scorecard will be available on the home page.

Step 5: Download and save the scorecard for future reference.

 

PSEB 8th Class Result 2023: Daughters won the first three places

Lovepreet Kaur topped the exam Lovepreet and Gurankit Kaur studied in the same government school in Budhlada. Both got 600 out of 600 marks. Lovepreet has been declared as the topper due to being less in age. While Samarpreet Kaur has been in third place.

 

PSEB 5th Class Result 2023: Pass percentage increased in fifth

Recently, PSEB released the Class V results, in which the overall pass percentage was 99.69 percent, which is a marginal increase from last year's 99.62 percent. This year, transgender students passed out with brilliant marks; A total of 10 transgender students appeared in the exam and all of them passed. Additionally, girls performed better than boys as girls scored 99.74 percent and boys secured an overall pass percentage of 99.65 percent.
