Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the program on the 150th birth anniversary of Srila Prabhupada Ji at Bharat Mandapam. On this occasion he released a postal stamp and a commemorative coin in the memory of Srila Prabhupada. Addressing the program, the PM said that India never went to attack other countries to expand its borders. The ideological attacks of those who were unfamiliar with such a great philosophy, who did not understand it, influenced our psyche to some extent.
He said that the freedom movement was also filled with immense energy by saints like Swami Vivekananda and Srila Swami Prabhupada. Celebrities like Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and Mahamana Malaviya came to Prabhupada Swami for spiritual guidance.
