'Development and heritage will move forward together', PM Modi said - There is no scope for division in India's mantra of unity in diversity.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Thursday that the picture of new India is a confluence of both development and heritage. PM Modi said that this is the picture of the new India, where modernity is welcomed and there is pride in one's identity.

 

PM addressed the program on the birth anniversary of Srila Prabhupada

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the program on the 150th birth anniversary of Srila Prabhupada Ji at Bharat Mandapam. On this occasion he released a postal stamp and a commemorative coin in the memory of Srila Prabhupada. He said that today this program is being organized at a time when just a few days ago the hundreds of years old dream of building a grand Ram temple has been fulfilled.

 

PM described Chaitanya Mahaprabhu

PM Modi said that the joy and enthusiasm that is visible on your faces today, I believe that it also includes the happiness of Ramlala's presence. Describing Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, he said that Chaitanya Mahaprabhu showed us how to become happy by incorporating the pastimes of Shri Krishna and his life as a celebration in our lives.

 

Prime Minister Modi said that Anubhav Mandapam was the center of spiritual discussions in ancient India, the energy center of feelings and resolutions for public welfare. Today, on the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Srila Prabhupada, the same energy is visible in the Bharat Mandapam. He said that our thinking was also that this building should become the center of both India's modern capabilities and ancient values.

The PM said that today crores of countrymen have entered the immortal age with the energy of patriotism. In this Amritkaal, we have resolved to make our India developed. We are moving forward considering the nation as God and taking the vision of the country from God.

 

Addressing the program, the PM said that India never went to attack other countries to expand its borders. The ideological attacks of those who were unfamiliar with such a great philosophy, who did not understand it, influenced our psyche to some extent.

 

He said that the freedom movement was also filled with immense energy by saints like Swami Vivekananda and Srila Swami Prabhupada. Celebrities like Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and Mahamana Malaviya came to Prabhupada Swami for spiritual guidance.
