Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the program on the 150th birth anniversary of Srila Prabhupada Ji at Bharat Mandapam. He said that our thinking was also that this building should become the center of both India's modern capabilities and ancient values.

He said that the freedom movement was also filled with immense energy by saints like Swami Vivekananda and Srila Swami Prabhupada. Celebrities like Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and Mahamana Malaviya came to Prabhupada Swami for spiritual guidance.
