The journey of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in IPL 2024 is over. CSK had to face defeat at the hands of RCB in their last league match. With the victory in this match, the RCB team got the playoff ticket.

At the same time, after the defeat in the match, the discussion regarding the retirement of MS Dhoni became very intense. It was believed that this is Dhoni's last IPL season, but meanwhile, CSK CEO Kashi Vishwanathan has broken his silence regarding Dhoni's plans.

Will MS Dhoni play in IPL 2025? CSK gave a big update

Actually, before the start of the 17th season of IPL, MS Dhoni left the captaincy of CSK. In his place, Ruturaj Gaikwad was made the captain of CSK. Under the captaincy of Ruturaj, the CSK team could not reach the playoffs. In their last league match, CSK lost to RCB and CSK's tournament journey ended.

Meanwhile, there was a lot of discussion about Dhoni's last IPL match. Fans looked quite emotional on social media. However, Mahi has not yet made any official tweet regarding this, but CSK has shared an interview with CEO Kashi Vishwanathan on its YouTube channel, in which he is talking about Dhoni's retirement.

Chennai Super Kings CEO Kashi Vishwanathan said I do not know the answer to this question. Only MS Dhoni can answer this question. I always respect the decisions taken by Dhoni and we have left everything to him. Well, we have high hopes that he will play for Chennai Super Kings next year. This is the wish of the fans and mine too.
