When Lalu asked to be the 'groom', the gesture was accepted
When the convenor was not announced till the end of the meeting for opposition unity in Patna on June 23, Lalu Prasad told Rahul Gandhi in conversation with the media that we are ready, to become a bridegroom soon. Nitish was believed to have returned angry, though he reiterated that he did not crave the post and had returned early because of the Malmas Mela in Rajgir, to be held the next day.
