Others would call it a blizzard, but because of his style, a different player in politics, Lalu Prasad Yadav had predicted a change in the interim decision of the Patna High Court. Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) President, former Chief Minister, and former Railway Minister Lalu Prasad had said immediately after the order of the High Court – “There will be a caste census in Bihar.” In an interim order, the court had stayed it, calling it a caste census. In such a situation, Lalu had also written calling it a caste census that it would happen. That prediction came true. The High Court itself, in its final decision, ordered the census to be started, calling it a survey. Now it is the turn of the second prediction. He too has found a way to become true.
When Lalu asked to be the 'groom', the gesture was accepted
When the convenor was not announced till the end of the meeting for opposition unity in Patna on June 23, Lalu Prasad told Rahul Gandhi in conversation with the media that we are ready, to become a bridegroom soon. This line of Lalu was taken in two meanings. One is for his marriage because he is still a bachelor. Second, from the point of view of becoming the 'groom' of opposition unity. The second meaning was discussed more because the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was saying the same thing again and again - "The wedding procession is gathering, but it is difficult to decide the bridegroom (leader)."
Nitish remained in discussion on the post of convenor
The convenor was not announced in the first meeting of opposition unity, initiated by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, in Patna, while it was believed that raising the flag of rebellion against the BJP government at the Center led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was going ahead with the flag. The remaining Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will get this post. In the first meeting, when Lalu discussed Rahul about the bridegroom, only then the seeds of doubt were sown that Nitish would keep waiting. In the second meeting of Bengaluru, the name for the post of convenor remained awaited. This time, including Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, all the leaders of the grand alliance who had gone from Bihar had returned without addressing the media after the meeting. Nitish was believed to have returned angry, though he reiterated that he did not crave the post and had returned early because of the Malmas Mela in Rajgir, to be held the next day.
Now the party before the prediction comes true
The way for Rahul Gandhi to return to Parliament has been opened in a way. The Supreme Court has given the decision to stay the sentence of Congress's number one leader Rahul Gandhi. Meaning, the basis on which his MP went - that is over. Meaning, now the formality of returning the MP can happen anytime. As soon as this happens, the way for Rahul Gandhi to become the chairman or convenor of the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (I.N.D.I.A. Parties) will also be cleared. Sunil Kumar Sinha, President of Chanakya School of Political Rights and Research, says- "At present, the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) is in existence, whose chairperson is Sonia Gandhi. If Rahul Gandhi gets a respectable position in the I.N.D.I.A., Congress will try to dissolve the UPA." Will be ready for that too, that's for sure." On Friday, the Supreme Court verdict came in the morning, and in the evening, Rahul Gandhi reached Misa Bharti's residence to hug Lalu Prasad, the 'groom' predicted. Bihar's Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav was also there. As was discussed during the Bengaluru meeting, Lalu had asked Congress to I.N.D.I.A. Had invited the leadership, so it is possible that now the time is about to come.
