The ASI team will start with the survey topography on Friday morning on the Gyanvapi campus. In the first phase, a map of the entire campus will be prepared in two to three days. Its geographical structure will be understood. From the fifth day, the process of gathering information about the history of Gyanvapi will start through radar and carbon dating techniques. The survey of the Gyanvapi campus can be completed in 15 days.
A team of experts from ASI will ensure compliance with the district court's order in a phased manner. The district court had ordered a survey and report on 11 points. Now the ASI team became active as soon as the seal of the Allahabad High Court was affixed. Because of the earlier survey, the equipment has also been kept in Varanasi. That is why the survey is being started on Friday morning.
Later use of radar technology
In the survey conducted on July 24, the measurement of the Gyanvapi campus was taken. According to the map and Google Earth, the location, etc. was landed on the topography sheet. Now this process will be taken forward. ASI sources say that radar technology will be used later. Through this, samples of concrete, asphalt, metal, pipe, cable, or masonry will be collected and age, etc. will be detected by carbon dating method. The District Judge's court has ordered the survey without damaging the existing building.
The reality will come out in the action of the survey
Many facts can be revealed from the survey which will last for about 15 days. Can it be known whether a figure like Shivling is self-created or was consecrated from somewhere else? What is the reality of the disputed site? What is the truth buried under the disputed site? When were the domes built in Gyanvapi built? How old are the three domes?
A survey report has to be given on these points
The scientific investigation will see whether the mosque was built over the pre-existing temple structure.
The age and nature of the western wall will be investigated.
A survey just below the three domes. Excavate if necessary.
- Investigation of all the cellars and their truth. Excavate if necessary.
- A list of artifacts present on the walls of the building will be made. The age and nature of the artifacts will be ascertained.
The age of the building and the nature of the construction will also be ascertained.
Various parts of the building and the investigation of artifacts and other objects of historical, and religious importance present under the structure will also be investigated.
